Rick Dennis started working in the woods for the family business in 1976, started his own company in 1988, and incorporated in 1995 as RDL Northwest. Today, we are a full service logging contractor, providing all phases of contract logging, including site preparation (primarily building roads and brush control), cutting, loading, job site security, and mill delivery. We harvest all sizes and species of timber, and have experience in all major harvesting approaches, including regeneration logging, thinning, salvage logging, and select cutting. We can also provide timber cruising, mill sales, financial project management (taxes, permits, bookkeeping), reforestation, silviculture services, and long term woodland management.

Rick Dennis (President of RDL Northwest) is a member of Associated Oregon Loggers, and is a certified Oregon Professional Logger. RDL’s projects range in size from five acres to over one hundred acres, and we can cover all terrain. We have been working and living in the Lebanon/ Sweet Home area for over thirty years, and have developed a network of long term business relationships that facilitate our operations. We take environmental stewardship extremely seriously, contribute to charities in both our local community and throughout Oregon, and provide our employees and their families a living wage and the chance to work in their home community. We run only up-to-date, reliable equipment, and are committed to continuous technological innovation both to increase efficiency and to reduce environmental impact.
